Roach Family Clams Casino

A great family recipe.


INGREDIENTS:
Cooking Clams Casino with Robb Roach

  • 15- 20 clams for four people
  • Bacon (1 x 1 inch piece for each clam)
  • Italian Bread crums (a teaspoon per clam)
  • Garlic (4 cloves)
  • Lemon

Preparation:

  1. Shuck clams making sure to remover the clam from its mussel and leaving the clam on the bottom half of the shell.
  2. Place garlic into a garlic press and press, place a small amount of garlic in each clam.
  3. Sprinkle each clam with one tablespoon of Italian Bread Crumbs.
  4. Place a 1×1 inch piece of bacon on each clam.
  5. Place clams in the oven on low broil until bacon is cooked.
  6. Remove from oven and serve with a wedge of lemon. Yummy!!!
