A great family recipe.
- 15- 20 clams for four people
- Bacon (1 x 1 inch piece for each clam)
- Italian Bread crums (a teaspoon per clam)
- Garlic (4 cloves)
- Lemon
Preparation:
- Shuck clams making sure to remover the clam from its mussel and leaving the clam on the bottom half of the shell.
- Place garlic into a garlic press and press, place a small amount of garlic in each clam.
- Sprinkle each clam with one tablespoon of Italian Bread Crumbs.
- Place a 1×1 inch piece of bacon on each clam.
- Place clams in the oven on low broil until bacon is cooked.
- Remove from oven and serve with a wedge of lemon. Yummy!!!
